Back to back wins for Hertha sees them move further away from the precarious position they were at the start of the season. The bulk of the action on Matchday 5 occurred on Saturday, with 7 out of the 10 goals scored being scored by Bayern.
Bayern romped to victory at home in the Allianz Arena with a convincing 7:0 victory over top flight newcomers Bochum. Leroy Sane is looking good under new manager Nagelsmann, looking like the player he was in Manchester again. A brace from Kimmich, and a goal apiece from Lewandowski and Chopo Mouting join Sane as the FCB goalscorers. An unfortunate OG for Bochum’s Lampropoulos compounds their woes.

Dortmund vs. Union Berlin was the highlight of the round, a smashing finish from Guerreiro and another brace from Haaland as BVB earn a 4:2 victory at home. Haaland now has a total of 68 goals from 67 appearances in all competitions for the club. Elsewhere on Sunday, Wolfsburg continue their undefeated start with a 1:1 draw at home and Bayer bounce back from their defeat to Dortmund with a 3:1 away win in Stuttgart.
